As San Antonio prepares for its massive Fiesta celebration — now 10 days absent — complimentary occasions are cropping up all over the town. A person this kind of occasion is as eco-acutely aware as it is trendy. The Fiesta Sustainable Trend Display will take position on Wednesday, March 23.

In its fifth 12 months, the general public occasion is a collaboration involving Goodwill and college students from Stevens Significant Faculty. Led by Northside ISD teacher Christine Donovan, the clearly show will curate more than 20 second-hand seems to be by learners in the school’s Entrepreneurship and Vogue System.

Donovan was the recipient of the 2021 Texas Vogue Awards Qualified of the Yr award, is an Agosto Cuellar award-winning sustainable vogue designer, and serves as a Goodwill Client Practical experience Manager. She has guided students to think creatively when crafting their sustainable outfits.


Forward of the show, all collaborating students volunteered at nearby Goodwill shops to find out about sustainable trend and retail. All appears to be like on the Goodwill runway will be offered to purchase immediately after the display. 

The showcase will start out at 6 p.m. at the Goodwill at 10422 Potranco Road.
